This is an open call for all willing and able participants for a durational social experiment gone sound piece. The piece is titled “Memory Bank” and is comprised of vocal recordings made by individuals participants (you, hopefully!) recounting their memories. These memories can be any memory of the participant’s choosing. Perhaps it is something from childhood? Or perhaps it is a reflection on an event that recently transpired? Anything goes. Each month I will compile and mix all of the memories into one cluster of voices, making individual voices hard to discern. With each new month, the previous month’s mix will be brought down in volume, creating an effect of passed time; allowing the sonic composition to mimic the nature of memory. Every three months the in-progress piece will be presented back to the public for reflection, sharing and community building.

2. Leave your name; please feel free to give an alias, pseudonym or moniker- if you would prefer to remain anonymous, that is perfectly respectable.
3. Leave a voice message of you recounting your memories- they can as personal or an impersonal as you wish. Please note that there approximately 3 minutes of recording time. Please feel free to call as many times as you wish. *Please note that you can only record up to 3 minutes worth of recordings. With that in mind, please feel free to leave as many recordings as you wish.
